This is Marlena's first published pattern. She began knitting 15 years ago when she was expecting her first child; two years ago she began successfully designing patters. Marlena, who loves cables and Celtic design, created this classically beautiful Shannon tunic at Shirley's request. A weaver, Shirley wanted beautiful knitting kits to market with her handwoven fabric. Since the Shannon, Marlena has designed many other beautiful sweaters for Canaan Mohair.
